we ate in the bar a couple of evenings and the menu choices were good with fresh local produce, beautifully

well as breakfast in the morning)

room, great breakfast and exceptional food

has a comfortable bar and patio and a nice evening menu

tiny gripe, but green tea would have been good for breakfast and and to make the stay perfect, fresh squeezed orange juice rather than carton makes

the staff are lovely especially the young man on front of house and bar on burns night

wifi is super speedy, breakfast is exceptional and the staff were all friendly and helpful

ample car parking

also i asked for a sparking wine in the bar after and found out that the bottle had been opened the previous day and it basically was flat

quite hard to get soap out of the pumps but there was a bar of soap you could use.

minor roads to the hotel and the parking could be a bit challenging for some but we found it perfectly ok

breakfast was a bit diy and not great

staff especially trish the bar manager she was lovely the food was amazing and the breakfast was fabulous

room was quiet and cosy, even when the restaurant and bar were heaving

hotel has lots of space for both bar and restaurant

beautiful views and conveniently located for a weekend of golf and sightseeing

we had room service as we arrived a little later than hoped, dinner was lovely

disabled parking spaces taken up by bentleys without disabled badges

spa was lovely too

whilst i understand kids make noise the restaurant was so noisy i could hardly hear the specials as they were read to

the spa was also full on day of arrival and the next day

didn't use the spa so there was nothing i can say about that, but really absolutely nothing at all i didn't like

the garden rooms are exceptional, the spa treatments fantastic, and the breakfast sumptuous

parking due to current extension work

free covered parking around the back, turn down at side of cinema, no problem to access (golf estate) unless you have a 'chelsea tank' in which you may need to shuffle a bit

property was character filled and really quiet despite being near the wine bar and restaurant

we didn't have the opportunity to have dinner in the bistro itself, but did eat at bar lottie and the food, service and atmosphere were great

character mansion situated in the middle of golf field in beautiful surrounding

through the large entrance gates and travelled along the road through the perfectly manicured golf course we knew this was a special place

service for the breakfast wasn't very good at all , it was at the golf centre so not within the accommodation

i have stayed twice before and on every occasion the bar staff have not been as customer friendly as they might but the people showing me to my room and

clean & comfortable with plenty of parking and ideal for people with mobility problems

staff were friendly, our room was lovely, the food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was perfect

pillows, the hot tub was hot and a great way to end the evening - the restaurant was great, the bar with lots of sofas near 2 log fires - recommended

restaurant provide a good selection of meals and breakfast was amazing

of hotels whilst on business for 27years 3or 4 nights a week, i object having to serve my own breakfast, lanes is no different than most in this respect

we ate at the pub in the village in the evening, which via a door out of the bar was a 2 min walk and food exceptional as well

dinner and breakfast were superb. staff polite and could not be more attentive.
