i wanted to take the chance to visit the spa , however we just ran out of time

good sized room with a comfortable bed. great view and breakfast. free parking.

the spa bath was just nice, as we had a lot of rain

free parking at the property, lots of hot water, good shower

parking is in front of the house but as there are only a few rooms it s very easy to find a spot

location is perfect, breakfast was really good especially this variety of bread

just like stepping back in time the quirkiest bedroom we ever stayed in lovely garden and great breakfast

the hosts are very kind and the breakfast was excellent

breakfast though plentiful lacked that final touch of authentic baguettes or typical tasty pastries

room service or meals provided in the hotel even tho they don t have a restaurant

were told by staff to turn down our music (from my phone which was not loud) while in residents bar at 10pm in case we disturbed other (-)hard bed. no physical bar despite hotel advertising one. (+)unique decor bar and lounge area cosy being able to eat simple meal when one guest was unwell was (-) whilst all the cafes around the hotel shut at aroung 8pm , one paricular bar nearby was open till about 1am & had very loud music & lots of people shouting/ talking which (-) the room was on the ground floor, right on the road and it was very noisy from traffic and the bar across the street (+)friendly and special thanks to the lovely waitress who fixed us a drink and a cheesplatter in the bar after our long car trip before returning home (-)breakfast too expensive, so we had it in a bar outside for exactly half of the price

they were helpful with laundry, we had a cider nightcap one night

wifi was a trifle ifi

the wifi was a bit awkward. i had to keep signing in .

breakfast was excellent, with great variety and quality, and we especially appreciated the

was small velux winsow 8 foot in roof with no view and faulty operation instructions for wifi failed totally

the room was a duplex that separated us from the kids.

there is a bar but closes quite early, limited choice and no seats although there is a lounge area

drinks (hot/ cold/ alcoholic / non- alcoholic) available to help yourself in bar area and just require you to be honest about what you’ve had

bland swimming pool area almost municipal in character

the swimming pool and spa was perfect as you could use it at any time with children

it wasn t very obvious at breakfast the express and the other option.

staff at breakfast and dinner were not as attentive or as helpful as you would expect at such a place

'tapas' in the bar was so bad as to be funny: a tin of sprats and two pots of shop bought pate

no where to lounge outside hotel and just relax in the sun except terrace by bar

kettle in the bedroom was old and could be changed, the swimming pool area could do with à bit of work, paint, etc

choise of facilities, saltwater pool, big jacuzzi, nice saunas, large choice of massages and other procedures, qualitative

our room was immaculate and superbly comfortable - the spa and pool a joy to use

was a bit disappointed that on the first of my two nights the bar overlooking the sea was closed - this is one of its major selling points
