the free laundry was great, as was the common room with the fake but warm gas fireplace and lots of tables

i was stuck in the room unable to leave to the store and come back to even get milk for my kids

they had grills and a playground in the back so while we grilled dinner the kids would play on the playground

you are looking for a place for kids, the playground equipment was older and the front is near the highway and the back near train

it was definitely an eye roll for me especially since it’s sitting on the table for your kids to immediately grab

my dog was welcomed during my stay for a reasonable pet fee

local golf

it’s very easy to drive to great golf and great food

gym and pool were useful facilities

breakfast was very good. site was clean and comfortable

full hot breakfast is back

great location for our travels - nice golf course nearby (beach), so a nice place to have a good night sleep and have dinner at bistro (close to the golf (-) we ate twice at the local golf club the briar leaf which was good food/value

staff and lobby area as well as pool and hot tub(could be hotter) (-)fact that the pool closes at 11am and its full of kids all the way until it closes like no time for the adults to (+)breakfast was great, location off hwy perfect, liked the option of pool even though did mot have time to use (+) coffee good and hot and they even had french vanilla creamer :) pool and hot tub were great also (-)fact that there was a big volleyball tournament going on and they refused to extend pool hours after the girls had played late into the night and just wanted to swim for awhile after (-) the location of the pool is weird and water got everywhere from kids running in and out (-)hot tub in the pool area was down for maintenance, and we wanted to use it with a couple who were visiting us, (-)the pool was closed for our entire stay. (-)pool area was way too hot (-)front staff confused about whether room was ready. pool was green

gym was okay for a small hotel

fruit/waters/coffees out 24x7 (a nice plus), friendly staff, very comfortable beds, plenty of parking, safe, etc (-)parking spaces seemed too narrow else all was good! (+) kind people ud83dude42 parking lot was well lit at night (+)staff free snacks and ok breakfast room facing pond quiet clean a bit sparse in decor free close parking (+) the hotel is sufficiently off-road that vehicle security is fairly high; the parking area is also very well lit (-)parking lot was not lite very well (-)desk staff spent more time in parking lot having a smoke, night front desk undertrained (-) the parking lot back door had a sign that said (-)in bathroom was not safe to stand in for a handicap person, walls were paper thin, grounds and parking needed
