king bed was comfortable, good restaurants nearby, close to highlands park and golf course

great view from our room. great having the clean laundry facility.

the staff allowed early check in to get us in from the rain and had a laundry service for us to dry our bike gear

we had intended to stay for two nights to visit the area and play two games of golf at le portage, a course we loved on a previous holiday

modern ac unit that worked very well, only place we encountered on our 2 week trip that had an early check in (3pm) and later checkout (11am), which we appreciated due to the rain, only 2 minute

she even accommodated an early check in without complaints and provided local recommendations & some baked goodies

restaurant and bar right downstairs below us but very quiet

a three night stay more towels were needed, a second bar of soap, paper napkins or paper towels and spoons for coffee as there was no kitchen

we had to go searching for towels and toilet paper in the bar downstairs

in the restaurant downstairs - the restaurant staff were not friendly and made us sit at the bar rather than a table despite all but three dining tables in the place being free

staff were lovely & the onsite restaurant & bar was brilliant

stay in a traditional b&b where hosts will look after you, share stories and serve you a lovely breakfast

excellent breakfast with homemade bread. hosts were most friendly and helpful.
