the restaurant and bar area (indoor and outdoor) had amazing views of the loch also (+) the food in the hotel was absolutely fantastic - we had dinner in the captains bar which was just perfect (+)that we met were helpful polite and friendly, from the receptionists, waiter staff, housekeeping, bar staff they were all excellent and a young team too which dispels the myth of younger (+) food in both bar and restaurant was a really high standard and we enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the view (+) the bar was great - the views from bar and restaurant were also amazing (+) the food was great and the bar area was nice and relaxing (+) the food was lovely and the restaurant and bar views were out of this world (+) the bar was so relaxing at night (+) restaurant and bar food was excellent - compliments to the chef

no room service but didn't mind that as much as not having towels changed

we were fine with this but as this is not a budget hotel, some patrons may feel that a daily room service should be automatic

the indoor pool was a bonus as was the free parking

there was no real bar area. just a self service situation. there was no ambience.
