good, but added to an already quite expensive stay, so we made use of our own well equipped kitchen in the cottage after

accomodation was great, food was great, bar and beer garden were great and the hospitality team were awesome

our party to stay in the family room had 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 9 years old) and when the kids climbed into bed for the night the bottom bunk collapsed with the 7 year old in it

floors and complete opposite ends which is quite isolating and not helpful when you have 3 kids with additional needs

area was a bit close to the bar and i am not a fan of loud music

room 1 is above bar so it is noisy on busy nights

overall we were very pleased with this hotel and are considering rebooking and bringing the kids to have a couple of days in hexham
