despite the room's shortcomings the bar and food were excellent and well run by great friendly staff

accommodated a very early check in which was brilliant, as the visit was to attend a wedding

we stayed on two separate nights over the weekend, they facilitated an early check in for us which was super useful

wasn't keen on checking in at the bar while other people were eating but the staff were lovely

for personal reasons we requested early check in which was adhered

hotel breakfast was nice and plenty of choice and staff friendly

although there was a private function on the bar late on the evening of our stay, we could not hear any noise from our room on the 1st floor

partner was a tad disappointed in breakfast, he had been looking forward to it

large clean room, comfortable bed and great fry for breakfast. staff very helpful and courtious.

fact we came back to the hotel at 11pm to have a few drinks before bed and the bar was closed and the residents bar was unavailable hard to believe on a friday night
