the staff were very friendly, the hotel was ideal for us as an older couple (kids now old enough to leave)
at the property we were disappointed with the overall appearance, in particular the driveway and parking

the kids did not like to leave the next morning......
drinks were a little slow in the bar area, but i think the member of staff was new and training up
wifi almost non exsistant
nice country location, very castle like with grand interior, nice bar and restraunt and grounds
view out of our room the inverary looked into the boilers, bins and dirty laundry trolleys

detail - the grass needed cutting in the back of the cottage, my dog didn't mind but people with kids might
we also walked by the river and kids had fun
so peaceful and plenty of lovely walks and adventures exploring for the kids
amazing old country retreat in gorgeous surrounds. the kids loved splashing down in the river.

i would be careful if you staying in bunk bed room (don t let your kids chanting anything there
ok if you have kids but staying with family/friends it could be annoying during the night having to go through
would have preferred 1 double plus 2 singles for a family (not ideal for kids to share).

the kids liked the tv in the bath. the pool and the spacious downstairs

kids beds for two adults which where broke
friendly staff, clean room and comfy bed. my kids really enjoyed their breakfast.
as a family with small kids we felt really comfortable and relaxed
is always the case with hotels, it was too hot at night, but that s a me problem as my kids would say

was the staff/cleaners smoking at the back of the building right outside our window where the kids can see them
single beds were really squeaky every time kids rolled over or moved in the bed and the mattresses and pillows
could do with a little tlc but very clean and the kids loved the bath

i tried to have a shower in the evening, water was lukewarm (the kids were asleep so i didn't raise it at the

told when we phoned reception that their parents were getting drunk in the bar and just left the kids too it

surroundings, wonderful hospitality, faultless dinner and breakfast
