the bar & dining room downstairs had a charming, old west motif & very good pub food & pleasant,

queen suite room was spacious and clean and stocked with all the utensils and kitchen items i needed

we were in a side room so there was a mountain view over the parking lot

despite calling before our trip, parking instructions were a little vague for an oversized vehicle

parking was tough, the restaurant let us park our car and trailer in their parking lot

i think the hotel is not improving the pool and gym facilities a bit.

we also used the spa for massages and facials

there is a very nice pool with amazing view

so fun that your dog can go into a bar with you

mediocre room service( food and service), everything closed early, couldn't order breakfast new years day at

this stay was our first time with kids in tow

we took a studio room and it had everything you could think of including laundry, a small kitchen, a balcony

there are 3 hot tubs and an indoor/outdoor pool with a slide that the kids really enjoyed

also, the kids who run the valley have no idea what they are doing in regards to transportation in the area,

the pool table on a saturday night was turned into an adult party told the stay at front that my kids could not

since it was an inn i didn't expect kids..i had family w 3 kids next door

were not comfortable at all my kids could not sleep in top floor pull out bed was squeaky and hard they ended

parking is tight

rooms were roomy, but pull out couches are very uncomfortable for kids

we were placed in a ground level suite right behind a high school with kids playing soccer as early as 7:30am

i also just wanted a nice drink or so after the kids went to bed and couldn t even use room service

although the bar and restaurant are small the drinks were great and reasonably priced for a resort town and

beautiful, pet friendly, helpful, convenient shuttle and large room. restaurant was great food

my bill show that the breakfast included but when i went down in the morning with kids to have breakfast - i

bathroom toilets were made for kids.

having to park down the street with 2 kids after driving all night and then having to unload and hike in was

i get this is a college town but treating adults on vacation like irresponsible college kids is just plain

pool not i use. kids not happy.

husband s and my room was ready at about 2:30 but the kids room was not so we had to have them in our room

but you had to cross a very busy 4 lane road to get to the town, which i would hate to do with kids

that was very annoying since the kids in our party were swimming in the indoor pool and wet but had to walk

heated pool and spa pool are in the atrium of the hotel, but god forbid you go down there without kids

the crowd was friendly and you got to watch kids enjoying the pool while relaxing

lewis college where my kids attend are excellent reasons for me to continue using best western rio grande

coffee always available :). kids love the afternoon snacks too,?

hours could be later, so when kids go to bed, adults can relax & enjoy it

traveling with kids they love waffles and we missed out because they were so busy on sunday we told them to

the trundle bed was dirty with hair and a big stain so our kids shared a bed and didn t sleep

the room was clean and just what we needed as a family of four with 2 young kids
