we didn't use the exercise room or pool so can't comment.

an extremely convenient location close all the local eateries and amenities, but the provided hot breakfast was delicious

they served a free breakfast each morning and free hot snacks (pulled pork sandwiches, tacos, soup) each night

should be cheaper with all amenities closed due to covid. gym, pool, gathering and eating area.

swimming is always a high priority for our kids, especially on spring break, and if we had known, we would ve switched hotels

stay in essex a few only because of the early check in but the room is always very dirty from the sheets to the towels and the bathroom

seemed to be quite a few things out of order - the ice machine, the pool, the hot tub, the fitness room

the free wifi was very shotty

as if was painted several times and the sink in the restroom had exposed piping, not ideal for kids

breakfast was amazing!

i also wish they had some sort of hotel breakfast

interesting food, good bar and lobby, nice use of indoor & outdoor spaces

the ability to have entertainment and bar in the evenings was great
