it was close to places to eat, had a laundry facility, and the staff was very accommodating

we enjoyed laying by the pool with the pool service

casino is poor if you are used to vegas or similar.

the general area outside the casino/hotel looks a little run down, but the cherokee property itself is nice

hot tub and pool are magnificent too

we are not smokers and the cigarette smoke was low-key but obvious on the gaming floor and in the bar area which kept our stay on that floor very short
