also, when i checked in i was hoping to get an early check in - which the staff really tried their best to assist me with and got in no problems

its a compact room , but clean and comfortable, with parking outside the entrance door, and easy to enter with luggage, being on the ground floor

bar and restaurant has had a refurb and looks lovely

parking about 2 yards from front door saving such a lot of hassle having to carry suitcases

breakfast was very busy so had to sit in the bar area as restaurant full so be sure to book a table when you check in

no dedicated parking spaces for staying guests.

noise from bar stairs to room as got bad legs

restaurant was closed when we got there, but they let us order takeout and eat in the bar with a pint, and even gave us plates and cutlery - so not an issue at all really

friendly, welcoming bar staff and the locals too, i immediately felt like a regular, they are all incredibly friendly
