great place for a family as they have rooms with a loft for kids

although it was a b&b there it was easy to get drinks from the bar during the afternoon and early evening and on our second night we had a splendid gourmand

there was no bar for socialising, or good night drink.

we enjoyed a beer from the bar in the garden before heading out to dinner

we received an excellent breakfast of croissant, rolls, and yoghurt in the morning

restored but also had excellent furnishings with period pieces all around the bedrooms, breakfast room and beautiful lounge where guest can chill and read etc

were told by staff to turn down our music (from my phone which was not loud) while in residents bar at 10pm in case we disturbed other (-)hard bed. no physical bar despite hotel advertising one. (+)unique decor bar and lounge area cosy being able to eat simple meal when one guest was unwell was (-) whilst all the cafes around the hotel shut at aroung 8pm , one paricular bar nearby was open till about 1am & had very loud music & lots of people shouting/ talking which (-) the room was on the ground floor, right on the road and it was very noisy from traffic and the bar across the street (+)friendly and special thanks to the lovely waitress who fixed us a drink and a cheesplatter in the bar after our long car trip before returning home (-)breakfast too expensive, so we had it in a bar outside for exactly half of the price

they were helpful with laundry, we had a cider nightcap one night

excellent that the disabled parking bays were immediately outside our, which made it easy for us to access our room

hotel is right next to a gate through the city walls at one of the nicest beaches with a beach bar and low tide walks to a couple of islands

they have a small bar across the street and serve an excellent breakfast in a very pretty room

breakfast isn t included in the room rate, but is offered for 13 in the owners cafe bar across the street

my first day, the internet in my room wasn t as stable as i d hoped to be but eventually the wifi issue was
