breakfast was beautiful and staff were always refilling your cup and making sure you had everything

we had fabulous conversations in the bar with both staff and the really friendly locals

the fire in the bar was always blazing

the bar itself was lovely , food was absolutely gorgeous all home cooked and fresh and the prices very

cosy bar , great ales ,delicious food and a warm room.

i didn’t have dinner but did get treated to a very good breakfast with lots of choice and good quality food and coffee with a view out to the river

able to have dinner, but the menu looked excellent with good choice of wines, and a relaxed bar in which to have a drink before the meal
