sofa could only fit two people, so the kids had to use the window seat/dining chairs

perfectly clean and tidy with everything you need provided in the kitchen to cook a meal with, highly recommend and definitely be staying

had breakfast as the children are a bit picky on what they eat & although there was a kids menu we decided to eat out

had an executive double, our 4 poster bed was very comfortable, and we also enjoyed the spa corner bath, nothing was to much trouble for the staff

having stayed here 6 years ago we mistakingly thought the room would have a spa bath which we'd previously had

staff, great food both in the dinning room and the bar ( relax menu) , the local real ale is well worth a try (-)you weren't having the 7 course taster menu the bar menu was fairly limited (+) great tv choices, fab breakfast and restaurant and bar (+)the dinner was good and the bar has a good array of guns!! (+) lovely bar area and menu (-)library bar could have been better staffed betweem 4-5pm.

individual hotel with lots of character, easy to find and plenty of free parking

place to stay - great service, particularly the catering team in the restaurant at breakfast, polite, professional and nothing was too much trouble
