great food, excellent room with plenty of tea and coffee, lovely views of the river, food in the bar was excellent, all freshly cooked and served with a smile, we had the fish basket and riverside

as for the bar staff

was very comfortable and spacious, bar and outdoor area fantastic, nice location and the kayak and paddle boat hire so much fun

bar staff friendly and helpful

the wifi-signal was often low, which makes it difficult to look things up etc.

wifi was very slow, and smart tv didn't seem to be able to pick it up well/load netflix

my room was not cleaned: there was a chocolate bar wrap on the floor and the rubbish hadn't been taken out

the guest house is opposite a wine bar and close to a selection of supermarkets

there were several places nearby where we enjoyed evening meals (joe's bar & grill, and the dewdrop)

lovely breakfast and both sri lanka staff very nice

wish they offer meat for breakfast like sausage and bacon
