good lively restaurant and good food and bar facilities

the decor of the bar and restaurant is really welcoming and well appointed

and small hotel in a small spa town

it is situated in the middle of this small and classy spa town, within easy reach of the attractions

there is no bar after 10 pm

views of lake from bar and restaurant, comfortable beds, ample wardrobe space, secure parking and access to

also found the bar to be closed at lunch time

area above the bar characterless, spartan

the steamroom didn't smell very clean and there wasn't a bar that we found (it was out of season)

the supper menu was limited and no bar area for after dinner drinks

restaurant only open for two hours (2x1 hour sittings) and bar non existent

the facilities were excellent with indoor pool and spa hot tubs etc, restaurant, bar & lounge with a separate lounge to relax and read etc

hair dryer in room, and car parking spaces for 9 cars only in a 36 bedroom hotel

hotel is near the spa and is reasonably placed for the rest of the town

there was also a nice park for walking in just across the street and plenty of parking available on the street in front of the hotel

the access to off road parking is a little difficult

park is a little way from the hotel with luggage to carry as it hard to find parking at the entrance on the road

safe private parking is also a plus

setting, pleasant garden, plenty of parking and a lift

the parking facility is also a real plus as many of the tradionally french hotels only have street

the view from the window was good, likewise the parking

location was great for our needs having come over from portsmouth to caen, there is plenty of parking in yhe square outside the hotel

room was ok, staff were very friendly, bar and restaurant were excellent

good parking for motorcycles. breakfast was fine and everything was clean

like the old feel of the building plenty of parking drink are pricey but with a good

super bar and fabulous breakfast room

the hotel was great location rooms were big and spacious lounge and bar area are beautiful, great pricing too

helpful and friendly staff, nice bar area, town centre 10 minute walk away

but did take a while to get served, think they were busier than expected, the lady on the bar was on her own and running here there and everywhere

good coffee and the free coffee machine wasn t so good but forget that and get a coffee at the bar in the morning if you don t want their fab
