warm, comfortable homely feeling, chatty locals at bar and outside

i arrived late which meant i missed the 9pm last orders for food but a member of staff in the bar gladly went out of her way to make me a quick bite to eat even after the kitchen had shut

staff are most friendly, helpful and welcoming - from receptionists to bar & restaurant staff and housekeeping - nothing was too much trouble

with jennifer greeting us at the main reception on arrival and josh attending to us within the bar and suzanne getting us a good evening meal before our concert

all the staff both on the bar and in the restaurant were very pleasant and accommodating

it is a super mix of golf club, hotel, bar and mini restaurant

dog friendly accommodation, staff so welcoming my dog was able to come down to the bar area with us while we ate

to sit and relax as the only small bar area was taken over by a wedding party so took a drink up to my room

maybe a bar person and a floor person on shift would speed things up as one person doing all greeting,
