excellent food, bar facilities and so comfortable

we had a place to play games, eat, drinks, a great bar and the rooms were all very quiet and calm

lounge was welcome and drinks from bar including free tea coffee

we had very nice breakfasts including porridge, easy parking on site and walkable to lots of places

bar area closed for pre drinks, limited to just the tasting menu meaning a drive to get a light

no separate bar area although covid has no doubt played a part in this.

special mention to alan in the customer service and whiskey bar who is a fantastic guy and really looked after us

also loved that the bar only served local drinks and food was all local produce
