needed the bar & restaurant open again, closed for covid

and it was a good choice, we were not disturbed by bar noise or loud music, and we walked to the airport in about 10 minutes

there was construction work going on around the bar area through the day, which was fair enough as it was quiet, but they left debris all over the

rooms are spacious enough (we stayed 2 adults + 2 kids), with an amazing view of the ocean

they also accommodated our request for an early check in which was ideal

tours provided inside the room wasn't updated no possibility to order something from the hotel bar during low

the bar looked a bit dead, no one serving or drinking, no music playing

the on site bar was never open, but was

we liked that it is near the town but not close to loud bar music

i also missed having a terrace facing the sea and a bar at the hotel

bar and restaurant downstairs is a bonus

love live music, but the bar didn't have any at that point

not far from the hotel is a really nice beach bar with live music, even during corona

of this is the fault of the property but be aware of boat noise, bar noise, and chitras (no-see-um) bugs that bite you without your knowledge

taxis are close to last cabana (others ok) and are loud also local bar blasts music till 2 am or so, bring sound deadening headphones or stay somewhere else if this

breakfast was made fresh for us every morning

the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious

you will enjoy the bar and the pool table (in case that you want a little break)

i lovde the bar with good music, food and drinks, something happening every night

it's a very ambitious hostel/hotel/bar concept and they are knocking it all out of the park

the bar service can be a little slow at busy times

i was sitting by the pool, no one came to get my order (twice) and i always had to go up to the bar to get a menu, and no one came to ask me what i thought of the food and then i’d have to ask

they were extremely unfriendly and never approached us, we constantly had to go to the bar area to get their attention, even basic things like a menu we had to wait 20 mins to receive

finally, i wish the restaurant and bar staff were more proactive

and the grounds are lovely, the pool was nice and deep, the pool area was clean and spacious, the bar area was comfy to hang out in and the eating area upstairs was nice with great views
