could have been signposted from car parking area as it was a little difficult to find initially

disappointed that no tea and coffee was provided in the room although it could be ordered through room service

breakfast was a disappointment though as my poached eggs were over cooked and the sausage was to my

not the end of the world but for a breakfast priced at 22, i think 2 of each wouldn't hurt

in the kitchen restaurant was exceptional, and breakfast very good reception desk very helpful and

simple to find, ample parking, co-op over the road & a 10 minute walk to the town.

parking was very easy behind the lodge and it was an quick walk into town

there was plenty of space to park outside the property

i was given a microwave for self catering and extra blankets for warmth and safe secure parking

stayed here the night before a run, and didn't want the standard breakfast, so they prepared a lovely tray with fruit and croissants, that also provided post-race

the parking near to our room wasn t ideal

the bedroom and lounge were large, and the kitchen a separate room

loved the gym too

i was unable to get the password for the monk guest house wifi and had to use my own data which is annoying when travelling from abroad

i couldn t access the wifi as i wasn t given a password despite asking

tv didn't get a signal so had to use my pc and wifi

the bar below is excellent

very clean public house, bar lounge toilets and rooms

room was above bar and quite noisy

were told we could get something to eat in the bar on the sunday evening but when we arrived, we were told it was not possible

spa facilities looked minimal

with an excellent bed and bathroom breakfast was good quality and well cooked did not use the pool but it looked a good size and clean my wife will book again if in the area

facilities were exceptional; swimming pool, snooker table, excercise equipment, gaming area, bar and hot tub

staff very pleasant. room immaculate. facilities in room great and wifi reception worked well.

continental breakfast ok but could be improved.

stayed as a family of 4 with 2 young boys and they absolutely loved the pool, hot tub and animals

the pub and bar is definitely worth a visit

continental breakfast included which was a nice surprise

the owner and the bar staff were helpful and went above and beyond to give good service

we ate breakfast on 2 of our 6 days and it was perfect, plenty of free parking

food, comfortable room, good parking, very dog friendly, good walks for dog, friendly staff
