very little. i think i preferred the old long bar layout.

commodities where excellent, the restaurant served fresh delicious food and the bar has an extensive selection of alcohols at very good prices, would definitely be coming back

the telephone didn't work so couldn't order room service as

we arrived late and their kitchen was closed so they recommended a very nice local restaurant a couple of miles away which

the pool and sauna, food was lovely, room was clean and comfortable

the day before i had spoken to a receptionist to ask if they provided room service to which she said yes they do

the availability of parking was great, as were the location and views

sauna gym spot on unfortunately could not book treatments as they are booked well in advance and golf course look well inviting except for the torrential rain but will be back to play ( plus had (+)big room. access to patio overlooking golf course. food excellent. staff helpful. (+) really nice room (albeit slightly dated) with a view over the golf course (-)golf bar (+)being served a hot breakfast in a restaurant overlooking the golf course and through the valleys was a spectacular way to start the day (+) it was super comfortable with a lovely view over the golf course (+) the views of the golf course from the room were beautiful (+)views from bar/breakfast room of golf course (+)room with great views of the golf course and a balcony (+)staff, very clean hotel our room was amazing and very spacious with a varanda over looking the golf course perfect day and night can t wait to stay again

arrived via motorcycle yo start our south wales tour arrived late afternoon large out of site parking so y be was safe

wifi didn t work at all in the back building, where my room was

good selection of local beers in the bar and comprehensive menu for evening meal in restaurant

the parking entrance is narrow.

so staff at this delightful hotel with plenty of parking ensured that despite my late arrival the bar remained open so that my remedial whisky was

fantastic hotel with log fires plenty of parking and very quiet

i used the gym in the morning that has all that you need for a quick work out ( mostly cardio equipment, one (-)room was a little small, and the gym is a separate building (-) gym was adequate, so don't expect too much, fine for a workout (-)gym could be in better condition but it served my needs so certainly nothing major and in no way (+)really good size room. great views. small gym was a bonus. (-)the gym was a bit small but all eqt working (-)no gym (-)a steam room and sauna would be a great addition. near the gym area (-)gym condition not kept to standard of rest of hotel, equipment visibly dirty and treadmill rusted

breakfast was varied and very good

buffet breakfast had a good choice of continental breakfast and cooked, just ask for vegetarian options

we have an evening meal and breakfast - both were superb

found the bar end restaurant too loud, no soft furnishings to soften the sound, and i'm not sure why menus

excellent rooms, a good bar with fine food on offer both there and in the restaurant.

breakfast too was amazing

my husband to celebrate his birthday, food in the upper deck restaurant was superb as was the breakfast the following morning

extensive leisure centre surrounded by golf ranges

the grounds were beautiful, the spa was lovely and the lakeside rooms were amazing.

to ask about air con as wasn't on, no instructions, had to ask about wifi which had to register again after 24 hours

wasn't much to not like, but there was a slight problem with our room service order

pool and spa facilities were lovely and exceptionally clean, was also very impressed with the restaurant ,

was amazing, lovely pool and sauna area, the food was to die for, cooked breakfast both mornings it was heaven, lovely place to visit
