i was pushed for an answer it might be that because our room was above the bar and front door there was the faintest smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the curtains from

the bar was extremely busy and noisy

beautiful room lovely old bar great good very welcoming staff

from arranging an early check in, a taxi to masham, even mark jumping in my car to guide me to a parking spot

how we could use the back entrance to our room so we weren't trailing our wet dog through the bar or muddy shoes

the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking

early check in and late check out

staff were very nice the bar and the restaurant were very cozy lovely place to have a drink or something to eat will go

very freindly staff had lovely evening meal in bar room very clean and tidy

were very accommodating with our booking, making sure our room was ready for us to have a very early check in at 10

early check in, spotlessly clean, staff extremely polite, food fantastic
